Today we're celebrating World Humanitarian Day. It's a day to honour and celebrate humanity and the spirit that inspires humanitarian work. It's a day for us to recognise and acknowledge the humanitarian heroes amongst us. These are selfless people who have faced danger and adversity in order to help others; people who are helping to create the future we all want and deserve; people who are ultimately helping to build a better world for us all.
Vanuatu Red Cross Society would like to take the opportunity on this special day to thank all the Humanitarian Heroes who helped in our Tropical Cyclone response efforts as well as to recognise and appreciate the incredible work of our staff and volunteers in recent times.
